Former Attorney For Jeffrey Epstein Says Trump Is Not On ‘The List’

The former attorney for deceased human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein “unequivocally” said that President Donald Trump is nowhere to be seen on the infamous list of clients that his former client had.

“I was hired to lead Jeffrey Epstein’s defense as his criminal lawyer 9 days before he died. He sought my advice for months before that. I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!” David Schoen said in a post on X.

It came after Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk accused Trump of being on the list in the heat of their feud on Thursday.

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” the former head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said.

He also shared a post by another X user who said, “The relationship between Trump and Epstein is well established. Trump flew on Epstein’s plane at least 7 times. Though it’s not clear he ever went to the island.”

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade was furious with the Tesla and Space X CEO on Friday during a segment on “Fox & Friends” for claiming that the president was on the list of convicted human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, one of the most salacious things said by either man

“Maybe I am a little too optimistic, but they’re both alpha males,” cohost Lawrence Jones said. “They fight. It’s dirty. I got a friend like this. I love him to death. But when we fight, it is, I don’t know what gets over us. We don’t do it publicly, but we love each other.”

And that’s exactly what this looks like—two dominant personalities clashing, not because they’re enemies, but because they’re wired the same way. As Jones explained:

“Here’s the reality, though — There’s nowhere else to go. In this breakup. It’s not like Elon can suddenly become a Democrat or join some other party. We’re in a binary system. He is our George Soros on the right, and Donald Trump is the Barack Obama of the party. There is no split. I think the call, based on my sources that I’ve talked to, is going to happen today. They’re going to bury the hatchet. We wish this would have not happened publicly and happened privately, but you got two strong alpha males that are deep in their convictions,” he said.

Kilmeade jumped in and pointed out where this whole thing really took a wrong turn which, he said was, Musk’s bizarre Epstein post.

“The Epstein file thing was way over the top and just crazy to say that Trump was in the Epstein files,” Kilmeade said. “I mean, what are you doing!?”

He added, “I mean, sometimes when people get drunk. They do crazy things. But this is a total escalation by Elon Musk.”

Still, Kilmeade gave Trump credit for how he’s handled it so far.

“I give Trump so much credit. For the most part, he’s measured, wants to be here, appreciates what he did,” he said. “The EV mandate was eliminated. He’s not happy about it. He says foundationally he doesn’t like the bill. You know what? The bill might actually get better because of Musk, and I think we’re working towards that right now. Elon Musk, and I know it sounds crazy, he just doesn’t understand politics. He has no idea about compromise.”

The White House responded by dismissing Musk’s accusations.

“This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted,” Karoline Leavitt, White House press secretary, said. “The president is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again.”
