Longtime WaPo Columnist Accuses Jill Biden Of Elder Abuse
After encouraging her husband to run for re-election despite his mental impairment and, potentially, the prostate cancer developing inside of him, a seasoned opinion columnist at the Washington Post is accusing former First Lady Jill Biden of “elder abuse.”
Sally Quinn, a socialite and opinion leader from Washington, D.C., attacked Jill in a recent interview with fellow journalist Tara Palmeri, claiming that establishment Democrats were “horrified” by Jill Biden’s actions.
“I blame Jill Biden for this. Jill Biden is his wife. And if Jill Biden had stood up and gone to him and said, ‘Joe, you can’t do it’… He wouldn’t have run. She clearly was in favor of his running and I just think it was a terrible disservice to the country,” Quinn said on the “Tara Palmeri Show.”
The former president’s “hideous” debate only emboldened his wife, who Quinn claims doubled down on pushing him to stay in the race.
“She wasn’t protecting him… I thought it was elder abuse, really,” Quinn declared.
The elite in Washington, many of whom Quinn frequently dines with, were aware of Biden’s deteriorating health and expressed almost universal anxiety about his capacity to manage another four years.
“Everybody thought he shouldn’t run,” Quinn told Palmeri. “People were just distraught that he was running and terrible for the party.”
“I think everybody was horrified that he was put in a position where he was allowed to run, by his staff and by his wife,” Quinn continued. “People felt sorry for him. But still it was his egotistical decision to stay in office and look what happened.”
“It looks like the beginning of dementia to me,” she said of Biden.
The insider from Washington, D.C., said she was as surprised as anyone to hear of Biden’s cancer diagnosis last week and questioned how his elite medical team failed to detect the slowly spreading cancer in his prostate.
“The president of the United States has the best medical care in the world, or should, and it should’ve been diagnosed a long time ago,” she said. “It’s hard for me to believe that they didn’t know about it and were waiting to reveal it until it got too aggressive.”

A senior counselor to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights suggested that Jill Biden could potentially face criminal charges.
The comment came in the wake of Sunday’s announcement from Joe Biden’s office revealing that the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. The disclosure has fueled speculation among many, including medical experts and physicians, who believe that Biden, his medical team, and close advisers may have concealed the diagnosis.
Leo Terrell of the DOJ went so far as to suggest that Jill Biden should – or at least could – be prosecuted.
Reposting a tweet from a conservative internet personality, Terrell wrote, “Elder Abuse! Criminal Charges??”
Top doctors and medical experts have expressed surprise at the delay in discovering Biden’s prostate cancer.
Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, according to a statement from his personal office last Sunday.
Not long after the news broke, leading experts began posing questions about the diagnosis.
Donald Trump Jr. posted a screengrab of a statement from physician Dr. Steven Quay, who called prostate cancer “the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases.”
